A new poll from Monmouth University indicates that voters do not have much enthusiasm for the front-runner candidates in the 2024 presidential election. The poll results show that just 37% of American voters expressed any enthusiasm for former President Donald Trump winning the Republican nomination and only 32% had enthusiasm for current President Joe Biden running for a second term.

Monmouth County voters interested in casting their ballots via mail can now do so in advance of Election Day on November 7th. To vote by mail, a Vote by Mail Ballot Application must be completed.

TRENTON – Governor Phil Murphy today announced his appointments of Tom Prol, Ryan Peters, Norma Evans, and Jon-Henry Barr to serve as Commissioners on the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC). Mr. Prol, who was the first openly gay President of the New Jersey State Bar Association, has been selected by the Governor to serve as the Chair. The Commission, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, monitors campaign financing in New Jersey elections and oversees filing obligations for lobbyists and their clients, among other responsibilities.

FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon is reminding Monmouth County voters who choose to vote by mail for the 2023 Primary Election that they can sign up for the County’s enhanced ballot tracking notification system. Clerk Hanlon launched the “Monmouth County BallotTrax” system in 2020, in partnership with the Monmouth County Board of Elections, to help voters know when their mail-in ballots have been received by the County Board of Elections for counting. This system is supplemental to the State of New Jersey’s “Track My Ballot” website

FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon is reminding voters that they have more ways and more days to vote in person with the option of early voting for the 2023 Primary Election. All registered New Jersey voters have the option to cast their ballots early in person on voting machines, during a three day period prior to election day at designated polling locations across Monmouth County, beginning Friday, June 2.

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of Elections is seeking Poll Workers for the Primary Election being held on Tuesday, June 6, and General Election on Tuesday, Nov 7. Poll Workers will be compensated $300 for each election.
