NEW YORK – In a powerful collaboration between the State of New Jersey, the Wilf Family Foundations, and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, students across New Jersey will now be able to visit the Museum at no cost as part of a school-sanctioned event, thanks to a major investment designed to expand access to 9/11 education. Free field trips for students in New York and Connecticut are also available with support from additional partners, including the Gary Sinise Foundation, the New York City Council and the New York State Legislature, and the RBC Foundation USA.

TRENTON – Governor Phil Murphy today signed S4170/A5467, designating the New Jersey State House Complex Welcome Center as the “Governor Richard J. TRENTON – Today, Governor Murphy sent a letter to U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy regarding recent delays and cancellations of flights that have impacted thousands of travelers at Newark Liberty International Airport due to outdated technology infrastructure and air traffic controller staffing issues. In his letter, the Governor praised Secretary Duffy for his efforts to supercharge the hiring of air traffic controllers nationwide and reverse the decades of staffing decline at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

TRENTON, NJ – The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), Division of Fire Safety is informing residents and businesses that fire code regulations have changed regarding the use of mulch around combustible building materials. These new regulations were adopted with a great deal of support to prevent future occurrences of property damage, injuries, and deaths due to mulch fires.
