Join us as we celebrate the musical legacy of New Brunswick’s own James P. Johnson, who penned the ‘Charleston,’ the defining song and dance of the 1920s. Swing and sway to the signature jazz melodies of Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra, the world’s premier Jazz-Age dance orchestra, and learn to cut a rug with dance lessons from The Canarsie Wobblers. The day will also feature a vintage DJ playing records from the early 1900s to the 1930s on wind-up phonographs with a “special appearance” by an Orthophonic Victrola.

Step back in time at an old=fashion country fair reminiscent of the 1890s. Visitors will enjoy the feeling of when neighbors gathered to help with the harvest. Enjoy wagon rides, live entertainment, games, pie eating contests, corn husking contest, digging for potatoes and farm-life demonstrations. On-going craft demonstrations may inspire you to start a new hobby!

Welcome to an afternoon of percussion music that celebrates rhythm, melody, and cultures from around the world. This program features a diverse selection of works from traditional rudimental drumming and expressive marimba compositions to beloved film music, folk music, classical favorites and vibrant dances. This captivating one-man theatrical performance chronicles the life and influential legacy of the Jewish comedy legend whose fight for freedom of speech is as relevant today as it was in the 1960s – perhaps even more so. Now more than ever, Bruce’s legacy serves as an essential reminder of the importance of protecting voices that provoke, challenge, and defy authority — even when their messages make us uncomfortable.

Lauded by fans and former friends of Bruce, Marmo’s crowd-shocking portrayal brings the notorious funnyman to life with all the electrifying, insightful and comedic brilliance as the one and only Lenny Bruce himself.

This production is intended for mature audiences.

The Atlantic Highlands-based Bridge of Books Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to creating access to books for children across New Jersey in underserved communities to support the development of literacy skills and encourage a love of reading.

Our 4th Annual Run For Reading 5k being held at Thompson Park in Lincroft on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Bridge of Books Foundation, dedicated to improving literacy and inspiring a lifelong love of reading. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Participants can sign up to run or walk as an individual or as a group.

One book at a time, we continue to level the playing field by getting books into the homes and hands of as many children as possible across New Jersey.
