Come share your musical passions at Belmar Art Center's Weekly Open Mic and Music Workshop!

Every Tuesday, sign-ups start at 7pm.

Attention songwriters and musicians, a new open mic is town. We have been facilitating a Tuesday WEEKLY open mic and workshop, every TUESDAY for artists to hone and share their amazingness and receive feedback for over 3 years now!

If you wish to share an original of yours, awesome. If you want to play a cover, great. You may want to just share an idea with a band to see what it sounds like. That's great. This open mic is designed for collaborators and experimentalist alike, to try new things, and be open to different possibilities. Join our hosts multi-instrumentalist Andy Demos & singer, song writer, guitarist Alex Sanders every Tuesday Night.

Free for BAC Members ($35/year membership fee)
$5 donation for non-members

Biographies and Women’s History books are half price for March. If you love to read and have never visited our sale, please come in to shop. Our prices are unbelievable. We are currently overloaded with paperbacks and children's books. You will also find puzzles, games, vinyl records, DVDs and CDs as well as books on tape and large print books. The Armed Forces Association and Twin Lights Brewery are proud to present a fundraising event on September 20th in support of Soldier On, a local organization committed to assisting Veterans with housing needs and essential services.

In the spirit of collaboration and appreciation for musical brilliance, we bring you our monthly concert series — pairing tunes from legendary masters of rock, along with some unsung heroes following in their footsteps. Settle in for an intimate vibe akin to MTV Unplugged, Storytellers and Behind the Music, as singer/guitarist Kevin Spyker performs timeless hits and hidden gems, accompanied by an array of instrumentalists from the Belmar Arts music collective.

Reserve your seats for our series launch on May 18th — highlighting the music of rock icon Tom Petty, with an opening set honoring the up-and-coming band known as Dawes...each month we will tribute two different bands.

Between songs we’ll share some history and fun facts about our featured songsters.

We’re honored to name our tribute series after the memorable Dawes song / album “All Your Favorite Bands” with the anthemic refrain:

“I hope that life without a chaperone is what you thought it'd be,

I hope your brother's El Camino runs forever,

I hope the world sees the same person that you've always been to me,

And may all your favorite bands stay together!”

"Comedy at the BAC" is back, people. Your host, Jimmy Maywalt, welcomes the crew from the Velvet Sugar Podcast, Alex Kollar and David Beckles Jr.

Jimmy Maywalt brings his "Straight out of North Wall" comedy to clubs in the NYC and New Jersey area but the Belmar Arts Center is home. "Comedy at the BAC" has grown into a fan favorite in the Jersey Shore area. Join him and his comedy friends as we say hello to the real Jersey Shore summer and goodbye to our cherished summer time guests. "Can you tell me where the beach is?" "Of course, turn around and follow signs for Trenton on 195. When you hit the river, you are at the Jersey Shore." That's not nice. We are grateful to all who have attended the "Comedy at the BAC" shows, even if you mistakenly call PORK ROLL Taylor Ham. Come have some fun with us.

Alex Kollar(@bigalexcomedy) is a New York Comic living in Westchester but raised in Queens. Not a blue comic, but Alex will push boundaries by not shying away from hot topic issues in today's modern world. He regularly performs all over and has opened for Jim Florentine, Jordan Jensen, Heather Shaw, Harland Williams, and Colin Quinn.

David Beckles Jr
David Beckles Jr. performs regularly in the tri-state area. He has a storytelling style mixed with a scenario approach. He is co-host of the Velvet Sugar Podcast and creates hilarious skits on social media under the handle @blackrockdave.

We are an educational and experiential group of socially-conscious investors meeting in the Red Bank area every 2 months. “ESG Investing” has become controversial, as it has been embraced by Wall Street as a deeper level of risk analysis, while being attacked by critics as “Woke Investing”. We are a legal partnership with a pooled investment account and we vote on all decisions. We have a financial advisor who teaches us and facilitates our research.
