This will be our 15th year hosting, organizing the yard sale with a portion of the proceeds being donated by the various hosts to Rescue Ridge and Wag on INN. Biographies and Women’s History books are half price for March. If you love to read and have never visited our sale, please come in to shop. Our prices are unbelievable. We are currently overloaded with paperbacks and children's books. You will also find puzzles, games, vinyl records, DVDs and CDs as well as books on tape and large print books. Your host:Jimmy Maywalt brings his "Straight out of North Wall" comedy to clubs in the NYC and New Jersey area but the Belmar Arts Center is home. "Comedy at the BAC" has grown into a fan favorite in the Jersey Shore area. Join him and his comedy friends as we say hello to the real Jersey Shore summer and goodbye to our cherished summer time guests. "Can you tell me where the beach is?" "Of course, turn around and follow signs for Trenton on 195. When you hit the river, you are at the Jersey Shore." That's not nice. We are grateful to all who have attended the "Comedy at the BAC" shows, even if you mistakenly call PORK ROLL Taylor Ham. Come have some fun with us.

Alex Kollar-Alex Kollar(@bigalexcomedy) is a New York Comic living in Westchester but raised in Queens. Not a blue comic, but Alex will push boundaries by not shying away from hot topic issues in today's modern world. He regularly performs all over and has opened for Jim Florentine, Jordan Jensen, Heather Shaw, Harland Williams, and Colin Quinn.
David Beckles Jr David Beckles Jr. performs regularly in the tri-state area. He has a storytelling style mixed with a scenario approach. He is co-host of the Velvet Sugar Podcast and creates hilarious skits on social media under the handle @blackrockdave

SPUR PLANS FAMILY BARN DANCE FUNDRAISERPut on your dancing boots and grab your Stetson!
SPUR (Special People United to Ride) is hosting its third annual fundraiser Family Barn Dance on Sunday, September 28, 2025. The event will be held in the Thompson Park Activity Barn, 805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, from 1 pm to 4pm.Proceeds will benefit various aspects of SPUR’s therapeutic horsemanship program. The SPUR Board of Directors raises monies for need-based SPUR lesson scholarships for individuals with disabilities, funds horse purchases and horse retirements, and provides other material assistance to the Monmouth County Park System for the implementation of SPUR programs.The afternoon will be filled with music and line dancing instruction provided by BTK Entertainment. Pros from BTK will teach and lead line dancing. A 50/50 raffle is also planned.Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 years and under. They can be purchased at the door or online at spuronline.org.

Run. Walk. Wag. Support free and confidential services for victim-survivors of domestic violence and their children in Middlesex County, NJ.
This is a USATF-Certified 5K flat course. For those who wish to run/walk a shorter course or simply support Women Aware by attending, there is an optional one-mile Charity Walk.
RUN. WALK. WAG. This year, we welcome runners, walkers, AND leashed furry companions for a family-friendly morning!The worry of leaving a beloved pet behind to escape abuse is a big reason some victim-survivors choose not to seek shelter. We want to change that by transitioning to a pet friendly shelter. Help Women Aware keep survivors and their beloved companion safe and together. Register in advance of race day (up to 11:59pm on 10.8) and save $10! Advance registration is $40. Registration on race day will be $50. Free for children 11 and under. No charge for leashed furry companions.
