Governor Phil Murphy today signed Executive Order No. 411, making more than 350,000 New Jerseyans eligible for jury service even if they have a criminal conviction that had previously disqualified them.

NJ minimum wage rises to $15.92 on Jan. 1, 2026—the last scheduled increase under Gov. Murphy. Future adjustments will follow inflation to keep pace with living costs.

Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill has nominated Jennifer Davenport for NJ Attorney General. The Senate Judiciary Committee will review her confirmation in the coming weeks.
