In 1933, Charlie, a Polish-born Jew who emigrated to America a decade earlier, returns to his hometown of Rovno in search of a bride. There Charlie meets Chava, who works at a hat shop and hopes to become a scholar. However, Chava’s ambitions for the future and the growing clouds of European anti-Semitism and persecution threaten both their dreams.

Dogs are not permitted on the beach from May 16th through September 30th. Payment is required from 8 am to 7 pm at $1.50 per hour. Cash, Credit and Debit Cards accepted as payment. Please be aware of the numbered markings at each parking space. Parking is free on the west side of Ocean Avenue.

Singer/composer John "Giovanni" Padovano will bring his solo show to Coffee Corral on Sunday, August 24th from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Padovano is also known as The Ironbound Crooner and aka The Coffeehouse Performer. His music is strongly influenced by his very early years in the Ironbound Section of Newark, NJ. John Padovano will perform songs from his original albums.

Attention songwriters and musicians, a new open mic is town. We have been facilitating a Tuesday WEEKLY open mic and workshop, every TUESDAY for artists to hone and share their amazingness and receive feedback for over 3 years now!
If you wish to share an original of yours, awesome. If you want to play a cover, great. You may want to just share an idea with a band to see what it sounds like. That's great. This open mic is designed for collaborators and experimentalist alike, to try new things, and be open to different possibilities.
