Celebrate the Coast at the 23rd Annual Ocean Fun Days. A Family-Friendly Weekend of Free Outdoor Activities at the Jersey Shore.
The 23rd Annual Ocean Fun Days is back, inviting families, students, educators, and ocean lovers to celebrate and explore New Jersey’s coastal environment with two days of FREE hands-on activities, educational exhibits, and interactive fun!
The event kicks off on Saturday, May 16, at Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park and continues on Sunday, May 17, at New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium in Sandy Hook. These locations provide the perfect outdoor setting for learning, exploration, and family fun. The event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. both days (rain or shine).

Ocean Fun Days brings together leading environmental organizations, scientists, researchers, and volunteers to share the wonders of our marine and coastal ecosystems.
Participants can enjoy eco-tours, seining demonstrations, fiddler crab races, crafts, exhibits, food, and educational activities designed for all ages. The weekend’s programming encourages stewardship of the ocean and coastal habitats while offering something fun for everyone.
Ocean Fun Days is presented by the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium in partnership with state and local agencies, environmental groups, and community sponsors committed to promoting coastal conservation and environmental education.
