Middletown Police Respond to Missing Swimmer
Middletown, NJ – On July 29, 2023 at approximately 6:26pm, Middletown Twp. Police responded to Thompson County Park, located at 805 Newman Springs Road, in the Lincroft section of Middletown Twp. for a report of a missing swimmer. Officers arrived on scene and immediately began to search for the swimmer in distress as well as the callers. It was determined that the group had walked through a trail in the park to reach the Swimming River reservoir, which is located along the border of the park and Brookdale Community College.
