Ocean County Man Killed in Industrial Machinery Accident

Authorities were called about 7:30 Friday morning to a report of an unresponsive man at 10 Havenwood Court in Lakewood. According to Police, “Responders were able to free him and began life-saving measures. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene”. A statement said the man “was trapped in some kind of industrial machinery.” His name was not released. The death is under investigation.
