The campground, located near Horseshoe Cove on the park’s bayside is for tents only and does not allow cars. The Park Service said this is an emergency response, but didn’t disclose what the invasive species is. However, visitors to the park have said on social media the campground was infested with Pennsylvania wood cockroaches, a species often carried to campgrounds on firewood.
