Storm Brings Outages To The Jersey Shore

Overnight heavy rainfall and winds have triggered a flood watch, coastal flood advisory and wind advisory to Monmouth and Ocean counties.

This morning there were reports of trees and utility lines on or near roadways as well as traffic light issues.

As of 5:40a power outages are being reported in with Freehold, Howell, Middletown and Marlboro being hit in Monmouth County and about 9 percent of customers in Jackson without power.
