JOEY RAMONE’S AUTOBIOGRAPHY COMING IN APRIL

NEW YORK (AP) – Johnny Ramone is publishing his autobiography, eight years after his death. “Commando: The Autobiography of Johnny Ramone” will come out April 1. His widow, Linda, says Ramone started writing it when he first was sick with prostate cancer. Linda says the book was supposed to have interviews with Ramone’s friends, but she decided it was more powerful to have it just be his story. That means she didn’t put in her two cents when Ramone discussed his romance with her — after she had dated Joey Ramone. She says all three of them had different stories about that, but this one is Johnny’s.
