“AN INTRODUCTION TO SYD BARRETT” SLATED FOR OCTOBER

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The best of Syd Barrett’s solo material and his work with Pink Floyd will be gathered into one collection.

“An Introduction to Syd Barrett” will include material he contributed to the first two Pink Floyd albums, as well as his solo work. It also features a previously unreleased 20-minute instrumental called “Rhamadan.” ”An Introduction to Syd Barrett” comes out October 26.
