FLAMING LIPS SYNC UP “DARK SIDE OF THE MOON” AND “WIZARD OF OZ”

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Flaming Lips have noticed their remake of Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” album is almost exactly the same length. That means it will sync up to “The Wizard of Oz” as well. Flaming Lips singer Wayne Coyne says one thing you notice with either version is that “Dark Side of the Moon” is not very long, and it ends well before “The Wizard of Oz” does. He figures either people were so zonked out they didn’t notice, or were like him and looked for any excuse to listen to “Dark Side of the Moon.” Coyne says the Flaming Lips version works better with a different movie anyway: “Tron.”
