JIM MESSINA PERFORMS ON KENNY LOGGINS’ SOLO ALBUM

BURBANK, Calif. (AP) — Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina have reunited in the studio for a track on Loggins’ new solo album.

They did a cover of The Beatles song “Two Of Us” for Loggins’ album, “All Join In.” They also did a version of “All Together Now.” Loggins also covered a Traffic song, “You Can All Join In,” so he got former Traffic member Dave Mason to help. One of the songs, “Moose ‘N Me,” is about a pet dog Loggins had a while back. In fact, he wrote the song 30 years ago. Loggins’ five children sing background on different tracks on the album. “All Join In” comes out July 21.
