TOP-SELLING SOFTWARE — JANUARY, 2006

RESTON, Va. (AP) – Settling up with the tax man was a focus of many of those buying software last month. The top-selling software title for January is “Turbo Tax Deluxe w/State” followed by “World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Expansion Pack.” Number three on the NPD Group list is another tax program, “Taxcut 2006 Premium w/State,” followed by the deluxe version of the title. After that at number five is “Spy Sweeper,” followed by “TurboTax 2006 Basic,” “Norton Internet Security 2007,” the number-eight title, “Norton Antivirus 2007,” followed by “PC-Cillin AntiVirus 11.0″ and “TurboTax 2006 Premier w/State.”
