SUMMARY:Visions Photographic Workshops' How to Critiqued a Photograph and be Critiqued
DESCRIPTION:Giving feedback is easy - giving useful feedback is a subjective matter and it is difficult. As a photographer learning to listen to a critique of your work and not being defensive is extremely difficult.Telling someone you like their photograph is easy. "Wow\, that photo is fantastic" or "What a great image" means very little. Telling someone why it's fantastic or great is hard to do\, giving them useful feedback on a subjective matter is a learned skill. What is the purpose of a photo critique? or more specifically why have your images critiqued? A photo critique is a time-honored way to grow as a photographer. Whether it is your image being critiqued or someone else you can develop both technically and artistically as an artist. This workshop will spend time learning the fundamentals of how to critique. Then critique other photographers images. The sescond session we will finish off with critiquing one or two of each student images. Two prints are required at the second session. Prints must be a minimum of 11 x 14 and a maximum of 11 x 17. No frames or mats.\n______________________________\nThis Event Downloaded From a Helios Calendar Powered Site
