SUMMARY:Dentistry From The Heart
DESCRIPTION:Dentistry From The Heart\, Newman Springs Dental Care's gift of a free day of dentistry\, will be held on Thursday\, October 11th. The dental volunteers will provide examinations\, digital x-rays\, blood pressure and Velscope oral cancer screenings\, and a choice of an extraction\, filling or cleaning to people\, aged 18 and up\, who show up at the Lincroft practice. Registration begins at 7:00 AM and is first come\, first served. The first 140 adults are guaranteed to be seen. This year's event will be the sixth annual Dentistry From The Heart event for Newman Springs Dental Care at 539 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft. Last year over $50\,000 of free dental care was provided to 144 patients in a single day. "One day is a pretty small thing\, but we think it makes a difference in the lives of the people who come to us for help" said Dr. Mitchel Friedman. "Since bringing Dentistry From The Heart to New Jersey in 2007\, several other dental office have started their own events. There is a need and dental teams have answered by serving their communities" For additional Dentistry From The Heart events\, visit www.DentistryFromTheHeart.org. Dr. Friedman and his team of volunteers will do whatever they can on Dentistry From The Heart day to relieve dental pain and fix dental problems. Drs. Julia Cintron\, John Frattellone\, Allan Ruda\, Beth DeAngelis\, Kayvon Haghighi\, Randy Davis and Jeffrey Zatzkin\, will be donating their time to help. Patients who need ongoing care or who have problems that cannot be fixed in one day are referred to community clinics\, where they can receive ongoing treatment at low or no cost.
