Don (Basile) is a win-at-all-costs veteran whose son is the star pitcher\; Michael (Stanek) is the wide-eyed newcomer who just wants the kids to have fun. The differences drive this funny\, acerbic and touching play through the bumpy terrain of not only baseball\, but fatherhood as well.Jim Stanek comes to HTC fresh from the Guthrie Theatre's run of the new musical\, Roman Holiday. His other credits include leading roles in such Broadway shows as The Story of My Life\, Lestat\, Little Women\, The Rivals\, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum\, and Indiscretions. Michael Basile is a NY-based actor who has appeared Off-Broadway in All Dolled Up and regionally in The Woolgather\, Italian American Reconciliation\, Laughter on the 23rd Floor\, and The Odd Couple as well as numerous television appearances.
