The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents "Women of the Bible" talk by Rabbi Brooks Susman, on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Admission is $8 members, $10 non-members, students free. Tradition glorifies the men and heroes of the Bible - the three patriarchs, Moses, Joshua and the prophets, not to mention King David and Solomon. But a closer reading suggests that had it not been for the Bible's women, these men might not have been so gloried! Join Rabbi Susman as he elevates the Tanach's women to equal (if not greater) status! Now retired, Rabbi Susman is the founding Rabbi of Congregation Kol Am in Freehold. Rabbi Susman is a Community Chaplain and volunteer on the Freehold Township Human Relations Council. He is also an adjunct professor at Brookdale Community College where he teaches philosophy, history, and bible as literature.
