Opening receptions of 'Who's Your Mama: Visions of Our Mentors' & Laura Bethmann: In the Garden

On Sunday, September 21st, from 4 - 6 p.m. the Monmouth Museum presents the opening receptions for two exhibitions - "Who's Your Mama: Visions of Our Mentors," and the Monmouth Museum's New Jersey Emerging Artists Series artist, Laura Bethmann. "Who's Your Mama: Visions of Our Mentors," is on view from September 21st through November 2nd, with a Panel Discussion to be held on Sunday, October 19th at 2 p.m. at the Museum. This exhibition of work from the National Association of Women Artists depicts, discusses and honors the roles that mentors have had on our work and lives as women artists. The National Association of Women Artists is a pioneering women's art organization, 800+ members strong and celebrating its 125th Anniversary in 2014. The Monmouth Museum's New Jersey Emerging Artists Series continues this fall with an exhibition of watercolor works on paper by artist, Laura Bethmann, a resident of Tuckerton, NJ. The exhibition will run from September 21 October 19, 2014. An Artist Talk will take place on October 1, 7 8 p.m. at the Museum.
