2014 Denim Day Campaign

180 Turning Lives Around, Inc.

1 Bethany Road
Hazlet, NJ 07730

Why Denim? Denim Day began as part of an international protest following an Italian Supreme Court's decision to overturn a rape conviction in 1998 because the victim wore tight jeans. Every two minutes, somewhere in America, someone is sexually assaulted. - 180's Sexual Assault Response Team accompanies on average 2 victims to local hospitals a week. - 180's Sexual Violence Program receives 72 hotline calls a month. Wear that you care on April 25th, 2014 in support of Denim Day. Allow a dress- down day in the office in exchange for a donation which will help end sexual violence in Monmouth County. Pass this on to your junior or senior teen and visit: http://180nj.org/denim-day/denim-day-volunteers/ to find out how students can become involved and earn volunteer hours for college applications! Visit the Monmouth Mall of March 29th and look for 180's Denim Day live display featuring entertainment, interactive information sessions and a runway show!
