Under the musical direction of Joe Muccioli, who Jazzwise Magazine says works with "a maximum of authenticity," Bob Tuzzo, Tony Corrao and Special Guest Champian Fulton with members of the Red Bank Jazz Orchestra join forces for an Enchanted Evening of classics from the Great American Songbook. Jazz Arts Project has a reputation for producing high quality, world-class performances and unique educational opportunities for area youth. Bob Tuzzo is the owner and CEO of a financial services company but he is also a lifelong musician and avid supporter of the musical arts in New Jersey. Tuzzo began performing professionally at the ripe old age of ten, an early start that would eventually lead the singer and drummer to play in some of the hottest nightclubs in New Jersey. From 1972 through 1985 Bob was a member of the popular group known as FDR Drive and shared the same bill in variety shows and concerts with legendary bands such as The Platters, Danny and the Juniors, Len Barry, The Earls, The Belmonts, Gary U.S. Bonds, The Dovells and the Shirelles. In 1985, Bob left FDR Drive to focus on his career in the financial services industry. His company, Total Financial Concepts, Inc., is an integrated financial services and retirement planning firm, however music was and still is a big part of his life. In 2011 Bob began recording a variety of his favorite songs; since then he has completed several CD projects including a Double CD and a Christmas Album. In 2012 Tuzzo performed as one of the featured singers in the organization's 6th annual Sinatra Birthday Bash, appearing again this past year in a cameo appearance with Tony Corrao and Champian Fulton for a special surprise number. Tuzzo was appointed to the Board of Directors of Jazz Arts Project in 2013 and remains an active supporter. "I've worked closely with the board of the Jazz Arts Project," Tuzzo said, adding that the invitation to join the board was one he "enthusiastically accepted."
