Chasing Ice (chasingice.com) is a film about one man's mission to gather evidence of our warming planet. Photographer James Balog deployed time-lapse cameras across the Arctic to capture a multi-year record of the world's glaciers, compressing years into seconds to reveal ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate. Free and open to the public. Brief comments afterwards and tables from Citizens' Climate Lobby, 350.org, and Transition Monmouth. Light refreshments served. Questions: 732-284-6312. Sponsored by Climate Change Action Team of Unitarian Meetinghouse (uucmc.org) and Social Action Film Series.
