John Batdorf and Sarah Blacker (co-bill) at Outpost in the Burbs

Outpost in the Burbs at the Unitarian Universalist

67 Church Street
Montclair, NJ 0702

John Batdorf breaks his musical career into four distinct periods: the '70s as one half of Batdorf and Rodney; the '80s as a staff songwriter and as studio singer singing on hundreds of jingles, movies, and TV shows; the 90's as a producer of records and commercials (including the CBS drama, "Touched By An Angel"); and this century as a solo artist (who also collaborated with Mark Rodney in a reunion CD). We hope you take this opportunity to come "Home Again" with this truly accomplished musician in a very intimate setting. Appearing with John is Sarah Blacker, a music therapist who has recently been called "one of the brighter artists to grab our attention recently," by national roots publication, No Depression. Ms. Blacker has also won the 2012 title of 'Female Performer of the Year' in the New England Music Awards as well as being selected as an emerging artist at the 2012 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. This show is one of our Outpost Café shows in the intimate Fletcher Hall, BYOB option 8 pm show (7:30 doors) Unitarian Universalist Congregation 67 Church Street Montclair, NJ 07042
