Maker Mondays

Middletown Township Public Library

55 New Monmouth Road
Middletown, NJ 07748

The Middletown Township Public Library will host Maker Mondays each Monday in July and August, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Throughout the summer, the library will host maker sessions for teens to "create, make, & do" with new and recycled materials. Teens are encouraged to explore the emerging maker culture as well participate in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) activities. Activities will include stuffed animal taxidermy, cupcake art, LEGO robotics, LEGO stop motion movies, zine-making, and more. Register now to reserve your spot: visit www.mtpl.org or call (732) 671-3700 x320. Are you a teen who is interested in leading one of our Maker programs? We're looking for a few good ideas. Contact librarian Ellie Strbo at estrbo@mtpl.org. The workshops will take place in the library's Community Room at 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown, NJ 07748. Funding for library programs comes from the generous support of the Middletown Township Public Library Foundation, Inc.
