Make Your Own Citrus Cleaner
Transition Monmouth Summer Reskilling Series
What's Reskilling?
It's about learning how to make/grow/fix instead of buy/throw out, a key part of building resilient communities and reducing our carbon footprint. And it's a great opportunity to meet others who value sustainability.
June 30: Learn to prepare homemade citrus cleaner with Diane Burke and Lois Blake. Those orange peels have a use! Bring wide-mouthed container for taking home a sample.
July 7: None scheduled but Transition info table will be there
July 14: Mushroom cultivation with Sean Walsh and Steve Letkowski. Have some branches laying around? Bring 'em. And/or save up your coffee grounds for a week or two.
July 21: Textile repair with Doris Lin. Other sewers, crocheters and knitters who want to demonstrate their craft also welcome. Feel free to bring clothes in need of repair. Questions: email veganD@verizon.net.
Visit Us at Transition info table to hear about other Transition Monmouth initiatives, such as timebanking and a seed library; there will be kids' activities too!
