Winsor & Newton and Liquitex, industry leaders and innovators in fine art supplies, today announced plans to host "Connections," a painting exhibit, in conjunction with the Third Annual Artist Outreach Program to be held in Asbury Park, N.J. Kicking off at 6:oo p.m. on Saturday, June 1 at The Gallery 13, "Connections" will premiere the work of twenty professional artists in the Artist Outreach Program (AOP) and is the first show to display the works of the group as a whole. "Connections" is the closing celebration for the AOP two-day event in Asbury Park. Adding to the celebratory evening of fine art, participating artist Michele Théberge will be on-site at the Connections exhibit to launch and sign copies of her much anticipated "Seven Essential Practices for the Professional Artist." Published by Editions Fri, the book puts forth the habits, practices and mindsets crucial for the artist to create and share his or her work while maintaining both health and a lasting sense of well-being. The Third Annual Artist Outreach Program in Asbury Park will kick-off on Friday, May 31 at the Winsor & Newton and Liquitex annual conference to be hosted at The Collective Art Tank in Asbury Park. The two-day event will continue on Saturday, June 1 at the Day of Demos, a full day of complimentary product and technique demonstrations happening outside of the Shoppes at the Arcade on Cookman Avenue in Asbury Park. "Connections" will round out the art-fueled weekend. The opening of "Connections" will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1; the exhibit will hang through Sunday, June 23. Artist Michele Théberge will be on-site starting at 6:00 p.m. to introduce and sign copies of Seven Essential Practice for the Professional Artist.
