New Jersey Environmental Federation, the NJ Chapter of Clean Water Action, is holding their 27th annual conference, STAND UP FOR NEW JERSEY: Fighting for Clean Water, Air & Communities, on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Georgian Court University in Lakewood. The event is sponsored by Clean Water Fund and Georgian Court University. The day features an environmental panel with gubernatoral candidate and State Senator Barbaba Buono (confirmed) and NJ Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Bob Martin (invited); environmental workshops on Zero Waste, Environmental Justice, Green Infrastructure, Drinking Water, Hurricane Sandy and Climate Change, Renewable Energy, Political Activism; breakfast, lunch, and wine & cheese reception.
