Trinity Celtic Band @ MTPL
The Middletown Township Public Library will host a concert by the Trinity Celtic band on Sunday, March 24, 2013, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Returning by popular demand, six-member Trinity will perform traditional Irish music for the entire family. Expect to be entranced!
Trinity is a New Jersey-based, six member Celtic band, known for their unique approach to traditional songs as well as their driving reels and jigs. Their instruments are many: fiddle, flute, pennywhistle, mandolin, Uilleann pipes, banjos, button accordion, bodhran and guitar.
Founder and lead singer Marian Lawlor plays guitar, pennywhistle, mandolin, banjo, bodhran and bones. She also instructs classes part-time in Irish language, bodhran, pennywhistle and Irish song at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft N.J.
