In Canada, healthcare is regarded as a social service, and treated as a responsibility of the government, to be provided to every citizen. In America, health care is regarded as a profit-making commodity, to be operated for the financial gain of insurance and pharmaceutical companies, doctors and hospitals. This documentary considers how it came to be that the two systems ended up in such different places. Narrated by Kiefer Sutherland, whose grandfather helped create the Canadian system. Lynn M. Petrovich, CPA, author of "Sticker Shock", a report exposing the predatory practices of nonprofit hospitals will speak after the film. Free and open to the public
