UPPER MONTCLAIR, NJ (Nov. 7, 2012) - The Master of Fine Art Program at Montclair State University will host an open studios night to invite the public to view the work of 23 MFA candidates. The night of open studios will introduce current works and works-in-process from the emerging artists, as well as a gallery exhibition to highlight an exceptional group of visiting artists to the program. The open studios night will afford an annual opportunity for the public to interact directly with the MFA students, and open discussion and dialog about their work as the candidates grow in the masters' program and as professional artists. Works include: painting, sculpture, print, video, photography, installation, and mixed-media selections, with diverse thematic interests. Accompanying the event will be a small-works benefit by the MFA students, faculty, and visitor artists who support the program. Proceeds of the benefit will go to a departmental scholarship to support outstanding students in the program. MFA studio artists include: Jeremy G. Bell, Flavia Berindoague, Kristopher Brian, Stephen Douglas, Amanda J. Hart, Brian Haverlock, Dana Hemes, Natasha Jozi, Angela Kelliher, Marta Kepka, Ronit Levin Delgado, Jamie Levine, Kevin McCaffrey, Jason Roth, John Ryan, Alex Schoenberg, E.
