A Fusion of Chinese Literature and Arts: The 20th Sino Literature Award Ceremony and The World of Chinese Brush Painting Exhibition

The Middletown Arts Center (MAC) is proud to host the 20th Sino Literature Award Ceremony and opening reception for the World of Chinese Brush Painting Exhibition. A "Combination of Chinese literature and arts will be the theme of this year's ceremony," said Ivy Lee, the chairwoman of the Sino Literature Award Fund. "Activities include talks given by literature critics, traditional Chinese ensemble as well as painting demonstrations presented by participating artists." This event is free of charge and open to the public. The awards ceremony will take place from 2 - 3 p.m. with the opening reception for the The World of Chinese Brush Painting to follow. The exhibition will be on display through September 28th. Participating Chinese brush painting artists include Li Shan, Liu Yung, Aisin-Gioro Hengyi, Cong Zhiyuan and Xu Jiufang.
