Rescuing the River - Documentary Film Screening & Discussion
Join us for this documentary film screening on Saturday, September 15th, at 2pm - at the Long Branch Free Public Library, 328 Broadway, Long Branch. From pristine to polluted, this film traces industrial development along the Raritan River and current efforts to clean up one of NJ's most important resources. This film screening is presented by NJ Council for the Humanities Face to Face: Community Connections, Long Branch Free Public Library, Long Branch Green Team, and the Long Branch Environmental Commission. Christopher Rasmussen, Associate Professor of History at Fairleigh Dickinson University, will lead a discussion after the film.
