To whom it may concern; I am contacting you on behalf of Newton Crosby to let you know about the latest high-profile late night party the band has planned for 2012. We have the honor once more to entertain the crowd following Gov't Mule & moe. @ the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ on Saturday June 23! This will be our forth show of this type, and we are thrilled to have the chance to possibly jam with Al, Chuck (of moe.) or Warren Haynes (of Gov't Mule). The last time we played the Pony it was following Umphree's McGee, and Jake joined us for our version of Phantom of the Opera. Newton Crosby has shared the stage with moe., Umphrey's McGee, Conspirator, Jen Hartswick, Wyllys and The New York Hustler Ensemble, Speakerbot and The Heavy Pets. Newton Crosby makes it a point to keep the music at high energy and the crowd dancing throughout the show. The rhythm section, Alonzo Sisco on drums and Paul "Hoagie" Apicella on bass, gel together in perfect unison creating perfect conditions for improvisation. Stephen "Squigs" Minutillo and Chris Cartelli, guitars, keys and vocals, elevate the band's sound by trading off of each other's leads and directing the set's musical exploration. Eric 'Eroc' Mitchell rounds out the line-up, bringing his great piano stylings and unique brand of synth sounds to the music. Climactic peaking jams backed by breakbeats and thumping basslines, Newton Crosby is sure to get the crowd and dance party going."
