Beginning Photography Using Your Digital SLR Camera
Does it seem like your camera is in control of you? Do you simply put your camera on Auto because all those settings and symbols - ISO, A, S, TV, EV, +, -, WB - are just to confusing? Do you want to take control of your camera and start using it to its fullest potential?
This workshop is designed to clear up your confusion and open the doors to mastering the technical features of your Digital SLR camera and further you on your journey of creative exploration.
Time will be spent on all those buttons and menus, and learning what those settings mean. We will discuss the elements of depth of field, shutter speed, and ISO. As you gain knowledge of these principles, we will begin exploring creative ways to use them. The first session will spend time indoors exploring your cameras function, the second session you will find yourself exploring the Belmar Marina area practicing your new camera skills and knowledge with Visions Photographic Workshops' Michael S. Miller by your side providing one-to-one and group guidance. The final session will be spent reviewing and critiquing images captured.
This workshop will leave you in control of your camera and increase your confidence and creative vision.
Designed specifically for DSLR cameras.
