Marilyn Schlossbach invites foodies and friends to relish an exquisite evening of cooking demonstrations, dinner and wine at "Farm-to-Table Spring Fare" at Langosta Lounge on March 19. Partnering with Ocean Grove specialty shop Cheese on Main, the Jersey Shore restaurateur will offer attendees tips and techniques for choosing and preparing the best ingredients of the Spring season. Following the demonstration, guests will enjoy a six-course seasonal dinner alongside the restaurateur in addition to paired white, rosť and sparkling wines. A portion of proceeds from the demonstration will benefit the evening's charity beneficiary, the Purr' n Pooch Foundation for Animals. "One of the best aspects of the Cooking with Marilyn and Friends series is that I'm rewarded with the opportunity to connect with other chefs and food enthusiasts in our region. Cheese on Main is an excellent independent specialty shop. Together, we will be able to act as a resource for anyone interested in learning how to pair a perfect Spring dinner with wine," commented Marilyn Schlossbach, proprietor of Langosta Lounge. "Farm-to-Table Spring Fare" will kick-off at 6:00 pm on March 19 at Langosta Lounge. Tickets are $65.00 per person and include the cooking demonstration, a six-course dinner, wine and cocktails; $10.00 from each ticket will be donated to the evening's beneficiary.
