'Easter Best' dressed men, women, boys, girls, families and unusual bonnets are a part of the parade viving for trophies, gifts and prizes from the greater Asbury Park restaurants and businesses. This year Dr. Loretta Long, 'Susan of Sesame Street' join judges: Mayor Ed Johnson, Deputy Mayor John M. Loffredo, and Puff Smith. Dr. Long is currently writing a new book compiling stores from her "children" who grew up watching Sesame Street. "I am excited to join the cast of those working hard to bring the Jersey Shore back after the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy. The Easter Pageant is an event which proves the resolve and commitment of our shore communities to get back on track and I am proud to be a part of that effort." Dr. Long said.
