NJCASA's Sexual Assault Awareness Month 5K Walk/Run
NJ Coalition Against Sexual Assault hosting Sexual Assault Awareness Month 5K Walk on April 6
Someone in the United States is sexually assaulted every 2 minutes. At the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault, we are working to end sexual violence against all people. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and on April 6th NJCASA is hosting its 3rd Annual SAAM 5K Walk where we will be walking together to raise awareness and funds for sexual assault services and prevention efforts throughout the state.
The Walk will take place at the Pavilion at Veteran's Park in Hamilton, NJ. Registration is at 9 am and the Walk begins at 10. You can sign up to walk, register a team, or donate to NJCASA's SAAM Walk at www.njcasa.org. So come out at 9 am on April 6th at Veterans Park Pavilion in Hamilton to show your support for survivors of sexual assault and to help to end sexual violence against all people.
NJCASA's mission is to promote the compassionate and just treatment of survivors and their loved ones; foster collaborative relationships between community systems; and affect attitudinal and behavioral changes in society as we work toward the elimination of sexual violence against all people.
