Kateri Environmental Center in Wickatunk (Marlboro Twp.) will host demonstrations of maple sugaring for families on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Participants will discover some of the history and fun folklore of maple syrup, learn how trees are tapped and take part in a syrup taste test. The program is open to adults and children aged 5 and up. The fee is $10.00 per person. All participants should dress to go outdoors.
