The Weeklings – Mona Lisa

theweeklingsGlen Burtnik (Lefty Weekling) is a platinum and gold record awarded song writer, having composed songs for John Waite, Styx, Randy Travis, Marshall Crenshaw, Patty Smyth and Don Henley. Glen started his career portraying Paul McCartney in the Broadway production of Beatlemania, and went on to perform as a member of major national acts including Styx, Electric Light Orchestra, and the Fab Faux. Renowned for his knowledge and love of The Beatles’ music, Glen is currently musical director for high-production “Beatle Bash” theatre shows, and also appears at Beatles conventions throughout the U.S.A.

Bob Burger (Zeek Weekling) is also gold record song writer whose credits include Styx, Donnie Iris, HBO pictures, Kasim Sulton and others. Bob has performed with the likes of Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Jon Bon Jovi, as well as with Glen Burtnik in numerous Beatles Bash shows. John Merjave (Rocky Weekling) is a Beatles genius that has been a member of the house band at “BeatleFest” and other famous national conventions for many years. Dave Anthony (Ramblin’ Dave Weekling) is a master of the “Ringo” drumming style, playing Beatle Bash shows and performing as a highly sought studio/live drummer throughout the greater NYC area.
The quartet known as The Weeklings perform the music of The Beatles with infectious passion and enthusiasm. As professional musicians that have appeared and collaborated with many high profile national artists, they bring a level of precision and authenticity rarely matched in any performance of The Beatles music!

Laura Burhenn's Mynabirds Prep 'Lovers Know' for Summer Release

Mynabirds, the musical moniker for singer/songwriter Laura Burhenn, will explore "new territory" on the new album Lovers Know scheduled for release this summer via Saddle Creek. Burhenn will perform a handful of solo performances at SXSW next week and will hit the road again later this year in support of the new album.
